Parachute Cord

I've always wanted this stuff ever since I first heard about it but it always seemed like something I didn't really "need".  So finally I picked up my first roll of it.  Like 500 feet.  Cool stuff, as the whole cord is designed to support something like 550 lbs.

Right now, I'm using it to lash my backpack on my sissy bar.  TONS better that the stupid bungee straps I was using and a lot more adjustable in a compact package.  You can get this shit at pretty much any army-surplus joint and I'm a sucka for army surplus.  I only buy two types of shoes and Jungle Boots are one of them, but that's a story for another time.

The final thing to set it all off is the Force 9 carbiners.  They've got the badass set-up to allow you to cinch down a load without the use of fancy Boy Scout knots which I have no clue how to make.  I can barely tie my shoes, let alone trusting a knot to hold my junk on the back of my scoot.  Cheap and sweet.
